BRUNO POLLACCI, Italy (1954, Lucca, Italy)
Lives and works in Pisa (Italy).
He qualified from secondary school in the Artistic Lyceum of Lucca and he
attended the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence.
1968 - has begun to paint
1969 – exhibits
One of the founders of the "New Culture Group" and "Zoom Group".
1978- founded the "Academy Of Art of Pisa", where he teaches painting, graphics, modelling and papier-mache.
1979 Realised the bronze monument for the "International Year of the Child" placed in Trassilico (LU).
1984 Founded with other painters the "Pisans Artists Association" of which he is been the President till the 1999 (year of the end of the Association).
1987 - one of founders of "AS.AR.ES." (Extemporary Artists Association).
1989 - founded in Pisa the "International Mail Art Archive" and he participates in the projects of International Mail Art as author and organiser.
Since 1989 he founded "Idea Fuggente", artistically bulletin that he still runs.
Since 1990 - member of the "I.U.O.M.A." (International Union Of Mail Artists).
In the same year he begin his research about "Electrographyc Art" and he realise the first artworks in "Copy Art"
1994 - founded the "Italian Art Team", national group of artists of contemporary area to represent Italy in international shows.
In the same year he begin his experience about the "Computer Art" and his artwork is inserted in the collection of the "Museo Internacional De Electrografia di Cuenca", Spain, the only specific museum in the world.
1995/1996/1997 is the author and organizer of the "Electrographic Art International Exhibition, Pisa".
1999, 2000 - the organiser and Artistical Director of the Mini Graphic & Painting World Wide Show.
He attained a lot of prizes. In 1992 he attained the
"Europe Prize" for Figurative Arts.
He has participated in more of 800 group-exhibitions all over the world and he has held 107 one man shows in Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Cuba, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Guatemala, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Panama, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, U.S.A., Yugoslavia. His artworks are in private and public collections in many Countries in the world.
